Illegal Immigrants March on Times Square

Illegal Immigrants march on Times Square demanding that the Government abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

A gathering of illegal immigrants paraded through the bustling streets of Times Square in New York City, vocalizing their demand for the abolishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Video footage captured a procession of individuals marching along the street, their voices echoing the chant of “Abolish ICE! Abolish ICE!” followed by a chorus of cheers.

At the forefront of the group, several individuals carried prominent banners. One prominently displayed the words, “Arriba Las Vegas Worker Center.” This center, according to its website, stands as a grassroots organization, uniting day laborers, domestic workers, and other low-wage and migrant workers, advocating for their rights, dignity, and overall justice.

Reacting to the footage, New York City Councilwoman Vickie Paladino (R) expressed her perspective on the march.

“It is unacceptable for individuals who are residing in the country illegally to demand the dismantlement of the very system designed to address their status. This is not a spontaneous event; it is evidently orchestrated by activist nonprofits with significant financial backing, which includes taxpayer funds and corporate contributions,” she stated.

“Let’s be unequivocal — engagement in political activism by individuals in violation of immigration laws should lead to IMMEDIATE deportation. You do not possess the right to partake in the political processes of this country, nor do you have the authority to disrupt the operations of our city,” Paladino emphasized.
