Trump Vows to Ban Biological Males from Competing in Women’s Sports

Matt Schlapp, Chairman of the American Conservative Union, appeared on Fox News to highlight one of former President Donald Trump’s top cultural priorities should he return to the White House: signing an executive order to protect women’s sports by banning biological males from competing in female athletic competitions.

Schlapp called the issue “a clear matter of fairness and common sense” and said Trump is committed to restoring protections for women and girls that have been stripped away under the Biden administration.

“President Trump has been very clear,” Schlapp said. “On day one, he will sign an executive order to ensure that biological males cannot compete in women’s sports. This is about standing up for women, for science, and for the integrity of competition.”

Biden Administration Undermining Title IX Protections

Schlapp criticized President Biden for caving to radical gender ideology and undermining the rights of female athletes. Under Biden, the Department of Education has pushed new Title IX guidance that allows biological males to compete in women’s sports, a move that has sparked outrage from parents, coaches, and athletes nationwide.

“Joe Biden has turned Title IX upside down,” Schlapp said. “The very law that was designed to create equal opportunities for women is now being used to erase those opportunities.”

Schlapp argued that Trump’s leadership offers a stark contrast, putting the rights of women and girls first and reversing policies that blur biological and legal definitions of sex.

A Clear Cultural Line in the 2024 Election

Schlapp pointed out that the protection of women’s sports is not just a political issue but a defining cultural battleground in the 2024 election.

“Trump is drawing a line in the sand,” he said. “You either support science and women’s rights—or you support this radical agenda that is turning our schools, sports, and society upside down.”

He noted that a growing majority of Americans support policies that keep women’s sports exclusively for biological females, making Trump’s promise not only bold but popular.
