"Free Palestine" Cry Highlights Dangerous Radicalization, Says Knowles
On a recent episode of The Michael Knowles Show, Daily Wire host Michael Knowles addressed the shocking terror attack that took place in Boulder, Colorado, where a suspect reportedly shouted “Free Palestine” before launching into a violent rampage. Knowles called the incident a clear example of how extremist ideologies—especially those rooted in anti-Western and anti-Israel sentiment—are taking root in America and leading to bloodshed.
“This wasn’t just random violence,” Knowles stated. “This was politically motivated terrorism inspired by a radical worldview that’s being normalized by the Left.”
Knowles: Left-Wing Activism Is Enabling Extremism
Knowles argued that rhetoric surrounding the Israel-Palestine conflict has gone far beyond criticism of foreign policy. He said the movement has devolved into a dangerous cult of identity politics that openly justifies violence against innocent civilians under the banner of “resistance.”
“We’ve seen protesters shut down universities, storm streets, and now—someone shouting ‘Free Palestine’ attacks Americans in Boulder,” he said. “How much more blood has to be spilled before we acknowledge what’s happening?”
Knowles emphasized that the mainstream media’s reluctance to call the attack terrorism is part of the problem, saying that if the ideological roles were reversed, the coverage would be wall-to-wall.
A Call for Moral Clarity and National Resolve
Knowles concluded the segment by urging Americans to reject the normalization of violent rhetoric and to reassert the values that once united the country: faith, law and order, and objective truth.
“We must be honest about the enemy within,” Knowles said. “Radicalism dressed up as social justice is still radicalism. And if we don’t confront it, more innocent people will suffer.”
He called on elected officials, institutions, and especially parents to stop appeasing extremist ideologies and begin rebuilding a culture based on truth and order.
